About our Charity of the Year
Dronfield Genquip Band is a registered charity, raising money from concerts and other events to maintain the infrastructure and running of the band. However, our fund raising reaches beyond our own needs by nominating a charity to support each year

We are pleased to announce that our chosen charity for 2022/23 is Dementia UK. This fantastic charity provides practical help and advice for those suffering with Alzheimers and Dementia and their families.

How to Nominate your Charity
​
Nominations are made prior to the AGM and a charity is voted for by band members at the Annual General Meeting. If you are successful in being selected, then fundraising activities are carried out for the year following the AGM.
